FR4 EPGC43 3841 Epoxy Glass Cloth Laminated Rod Electrical Insulation Material

product details

Description

FR-4 / EPGC43 Epoxy Glass Rods are made from high-quality glass fabric impregnated with epoxy resin, providing superior electrical insulation, mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and flame retardancy. These rods are designed for high-voltage and demanding industrial and electrical applications, offering reliable performance under stress, extreme temperatures (-40°C to 130°C), moisture, and chemical exposure. With excellent dielectric properties and UL94 V-0 flame-retardant performance, FR-4 / EPGC43 rods ensure safety, durability, and long-term stability in critical applications.

Features

  • Excellent dielectric strength for high-voltage insulation.

  • High mechanical strength and rigidity, resistant to impact, stress, and wear.

  • Superior thermal stability across a wide temperature range (-40°C to 130°C).

  • UL94 V-0 flame-retardant, enhancing safety in electrical and industrial applications.

  • High tensile strength, minimizing the risk of breaking or deformation.

  • Excellent resistance to moisture and chemicals.

  • Durable and long-lasting performance for demanding industrial and electrical uses.

Applications

  • Electrical insulation components in transformers, motors, and switchgear.

  • Structural supports in industrial machinery and equipment.

  • Components in electronics, automotive, and machinery exposed to extreme temperatures.

Note 1: The "vertical layer bending strength" of EPGC42 type is the bending strength measured at 150 ℃ ± 3 ℃ after 1h of treatment at 150 ℃ ± 3 ℃, which shall not be less than 50% of the specified value.
Note 2: One of the requirements for 20s step-by-step boost test and 1min withstand voltage test for parallel layer to breakdown voltage in 90 ℃ transformer oil can be selected.
Note 3: The flammability test is mainly used to monitor the uniformity of laminate production, and the results so measured should not be regarded as a comprehensive indication of the potential fire hazard of these laminates under actual application conditions.
