Description

Expanded PTFE sheet is an extremely compressible sealing material manufactured from 100% virgin PTFE. It is food approved and offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, making it a preferred sealing solution in hygienic and chemically aggressive environments. Due to its high conformability and low bolt load requirement, expanded PTFE is especially suitable for delicate, worn, or damaged flanges. The material can withstand compressive loads exceeding 40,000 psi without loss of sealing performance.
