G7 Silicone Glass Laminate SIGC201 HGW2572 Insulation Sheet

product details

Description

G-7 is a continuous filament glass cloth reinforced with silicone resin, forming a high-performance industrial laminate. This material exhibits excellent electrical insulation properties and is rated for the highest continuous operating temperature among industrial laminates, suitable for applications up to 180°C.

G-7 laminates maintain low dielectric loss and high insulation resistance across a wide temperature range, even under humid conditions. The composite also demonstrates outstanding heat and arc resistance and is inherently self-extinguishing, providing enhanced safety in demanding environments.

Features

  • High Temperature Resistance: Continuous operation up to 180°C.

  • Excellent Electrical Insulation: Low dielectric loss and high insulation resistance, even under humid conditions.

  • Heat & Arc Resistant: Outstanding performance under thermal and electrical stress.

  • Self-Extinguishing: Provides enhanced fire safety.

  • Mechanical Strength: Strong and dimensionally stable, resistant to vibration and impact.

  • Reliable in Harsh Environments: Maintains performance under extreme conditions over long periods.

Applications

  • Aerospace Components: High-temperature insulation and structural parts.

  • Power Generation Equipment: Transformers, switchgear, and electrical panels.

  • Heavy Machinery: Insulating parts exposed to heat, vibration, and mechanical stress.

  • High-Voltage Electrical Systems: Reliable insulation in demanding environments.

  • Industrial Electrical Insulation: Bushings, spacers, washers, and other critical insulation components.
