Description
FR4 Sheet is a flame-retardant laminated material produced under high temperature and high pressure using electronic-grade fiberglass cloth impregnated with brominated epoxy resin. It offers excellent mechanical strength, stable dielectric performance, and reliable flame resistance, along with good heat and moisture resistance, making it suitable for demanding electrical and industrial applications.
FR-4 is not a specific material name but a flame-resistance grade defined by the NEMA standard. The designation “FR” means fire retardant, indicating that the material can self-extinguish after burning and complies with the UL94 V-0 flame-retardant standard.
Features
• High Flame Resistance: The 94V0 rating ensures the material is flame retardant, making it safe for various applications.
• Excellent Electrical Insulation: Offers superior dielectric properties, ideal for electrical and electronic applications.
• High Strength: Provides excellent mechanical properties, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments.
• Chemical Resistance: Resistant to many chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
